A little about me...

Hi there! I'm Greg, and I love photography.

Originally, I trained as a musician, and as a lover of both visual and sonic arts, I found myself drawn into the world of retouching and Photoshop. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to have some great success as a retoucher and have been published both in the UK and internationally. However, it wasn't until my daughter Arrietty was born that I discovered my true calling: photography.

There's something so magical about capturing all of the little moments that make up a person's life, and of all the different types of photography I've done, weddings are my absolute favorite. There's nothing quite like being a part of someone's once-in-a-lifetime day and documenting it for future generations. Like many people, I treasure the photos from my family's past and I love the idea of creating that same tradition for others. Plus, who doesn't love a good wedding? The people, emotions, and occasional unexpected surprises all make for an incredible day that I am honored to be a part of.

My background in retouching has given me a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of composition and color. I bring these skills to all of my portrait and event photography work. And because I come from the retouching side of the industry, I always strive to make my pictures look their absolute best. My clients are always thrilled with the final results.

I'm not the shy type of photographer - I'm more of the "let's make the kids laugh and compliment the guest's shoes" kind. I don't want to be a stranger taking photos at your wedding, I want you to feel as comfortable around me as a friend, and that way we'll get the best images. I'll laugh with you, keep you calm, distract you from the nerves when necessary and you best believe, that when the music starts, I'll be right on that dancefloor camera in hand, getting some great shots in the thick of it.
